ABOUT ME
What is a Speech Pathologist?
A Speech Pathologist, Speech-Language Pathologist, and Speech Therapist are the same titles for a professional who has specialized training in assessing and treating individuals with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders. A Speech Pathologist holds a Master’s degree from an accredited university and is a member of a provincially regulated college.
A Speech Pathologist can provide assessment, consultation, education, recommendations, and therapy services. Please see “Areas of Service” for more information on the disorders treated by Speech Pathologists.
